ok so this is a post that was inspired by 2 things: 1) The weird stuff peeps do on chair lifts and 2) Bandit's post. so here r ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... 3 stories. enjoy!
The Dead Guy Who Fell Off a Chair Lift: One Sunday, my friend and i were at a ski race (or mayhaps it was a practice) at Buck Hill. That friend happened to be Bandit. And Bandit's little sister and mom were there too. So we were by the chalet (the place where the food is), looking down to the chair lift station below. Then we noticed a guy lying in a ditch (a snow boarder- go figure) with a bunch of ski patrol people. This ditch was right next to the chair lift. Then the ski patrol put the guy into a sled and covered him up with a tarp thingy. They attached him to a snow mobile and towed him away. I said to Bandit: "That guy fell off the chair lift and DIED!" Her little sister (who was in i think 3rd grade at the time) heard me. Bandit told me that that night when their dad came home, her sister went up to their dad and said, "Some guy fell off a chair lift and died today!"
