Interview 4: Great K8

Me: How do you feel about Barack Obama becoming president?

K8: I think that it is very exciting that Barack Obama is now President, for three main reasons. Firstly, because he is a democrat, and after not having a democratic president for eight years,our economy has gotten quite bad. If John McCain had become President, he might have had the same views as Bush, and the economy might have just gotten worse. For regular families, that wouldn't be good. FORMER President Bush also started a war. Well, he didn't really start it, but he encouraged it. It was all just a mistake! I don't see why Bush can't just admit his mistake, and withdraw from Iraq. To me, it seemed that he didn't care about all the people who were dying in wars. It seemed that he thought that as long as his family was safe, it didn't matter that other families were devastated. I believe that President Obama will slowly withdraw from Iraq and all the other places that we are warring with. I also think that Obama was a good choice for president because John McCain is a dried up, wrinkled, old prune. (Credit to Pebbles and ME!!!) I just believe that he wouldn't have been a good choice. Finally, President Obama is the first African American President. To summarize Martian Luther King Jr's famous speech, he had a dream that one day everyone of any race, size, color, or nationality would be able to live in peace. His dream is now reality. I promise this is the last thing that I will say. I think Obama made an excellent speech. I liked how he said basically that Bush made false promises and petty mistakes. Even simpler, WE DON"T LIKE BUSH!!! No offense, Republicans. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me.

Me: Wow. That was kinda long. But good reasoning.

Me: If you could change who the vice president is, who would it be?

K8: I would have chosen a few different people, some jokingly. For example, I might have jokingly chosen Sarah Palin, because then I could have said that one of my relatives was vice president. Yes, she seriously is my relative by blood! I also might have chosen me, just for the sake of being on TV and being famous. All in all, I think that President Obama made a good choice with Joe Biden.
